What facilities can I use to see the kernel's status?
Today the kernel has been hovering at 18% CPU usage for a very long time.
What facilities can I use to get the status of the kernels activities? I
basically want to see what requests it is servicing along with other
activity statistics. I'm aware of Activity Monitor and the Console, I am
looking for more detailed information.
(BTW, the activity dropped from 18% to the normal 3-4% after I
disconnected my external FireWire hard drive.)
